renovated, the first step that is taken by architects after listing down client
requirements is the generation of conceptual ideas, zoning and the process
of drawings leads to a way. While CAD programmes have made this much
easier in the digital age, some people believe that drafting by hand offers
them a better understanding of the design. The architects of the past were
always found to be with adjustable stools and giant drawing tables that
were almost as big as dining tables. Nowadays, with the latest advances in
computer technology, and with the evolution of sophisticated software,
the architectural profession has become a futuristic one. This article tries
to understand the evolution of softwares in the field of architecture with
their merits and demerits
